Reading the website
The supplied website code does not include analytics, advertising trackers, account registration or third-party embedded services. Styles, scripts and image references are served from the site itself. Your browser must make requests to the website host to display pages; those requests disclose technical information such as your IP address, requested resource and browser information to the hosting infrastructure.
Hosting and security services may keep technical logs under their own configuration. This page does not promise a particular hosting-log retention period or that browsing is anonymous. The code itself does not create a reader profile or record your navigation history.
The local note tool
Information entered on the contact page is processed in the current browser page to prepare plain text. The tool has no server submission endpoint and does not store entries in cookies or localStorage. Reloading or leaving the page can discard the prepared content, although your browser may independently restore form fields.
Copying writes the prepared note to your system clipboard, subject to browser permission. Downloading creates a text file on your device. Clipboard contents, browser autofill and downloaded files are controlled by you and your device; take care when using shared equipment.
If you send an email
Sending a note through your email service is separate from using the local tool. Your email provider and the recipient’s email provider process the message. Correspondence may include your name, reply address, message content and delivery metadata.
We use correspondence to answer enquiries, review corrections and maintain necessary records of those exchanges. Do not send sensitive personal information. Where applicable, handling an enquiry may rely on legitimate interests in responding and maintaining the site, or on steps requested by you. Correspondence is not used by this website code to create a marketing subscription.
Retention, disclosure and requests
Correspondence should be retained only as needed for the enquiry, related editorial records or legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised where appropriate. Necessary service providers may process hosting or email information, and disclosure may be required by law. No personal-data sales mechanism is included in this site.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a relevant data protection authority.
